As we step into the vibrant month of June, known worldwide as Pride Month, it is crucial that we recognize the ongoing challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. Despite significant progress in recent years, attacks on LGBTQIA+ rights persist, with a particular focus on transgender individuals. In this edition of The Universal Life Networker, we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity and acceptance for all.
Since its establishment in 1962, the Universal Life Church has been a pioneer in championing equality, ordaining individuals of every belief, race, gender, and sexual orientation. We proudly continue this tradition, acknowledging that diversity strengthens our collective spirit and enriches our shared human experience. Now, more than ever, it is vital that we reaffirm our support for LGBTQIA+ rights and raise awareness about the issues affecting this community.
